We are a community of pilots, aircraft builders, and aviation enthusiasts who gather at the Livermore Municipal Airport (KLVK). Our members build, maintain, and fly aircraft ranging from Light Sport (LSA) to aerobatics to High-performance technically advanced aircraft and everything in between. We get together to share and exchange ideas, promote safety, serve the local aviation community..and have fun!

Our Programs

Young Aviators Program

The EAA Chapter 663 Young Aviators Program is designed to nurture the next generation of pilots and aerospace engineers. The program offers a variety of activities, including hands-on aircraft build projects, participation in the Young Eagles program, and volunteering as ground crew at Young Eagles events. It also fosters a supportive community by providing opportunities for students to connect with other aspiring aviators, experienced pilots, and professionals in the aviation and aerospace fields.​

Technical Counselors

EAA Technical Counselors are experienced airplane builders, restorers, and mechanics who volunteer their time to visit other EAA members who are in the process of building or restoring their own aircraft. ​

Eagle Flights / Flying Start

VMC and IMC Club

EAA’s Eagle Flight® is a free introductory flight experience and informal mentoring program designed to welcome and encourage adults who want to discover flying, but don’t know how or where to take that first step.

Monthly seminars on ZOOM where both Instrument and non-instrument rated pilots can improve their proficiency and safety in a small group scenario based discussion.
